 With such a small allotted time, sometimes the stars must align perfectly for everyone to cooperate :) I am pretty quick with the camera and you’d be surprised at what I can capture in between those moments. I also have some tricks up my sleeve. 

Family sessions last around 1 hour, depending on the number of family members. 

I love variety and will find the perfect location(s) that match your family's personality. I have lots of fun areas in Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock and Georgetown. I am always open to fun new areas too, so we will decide the best location together.

I recommend picking 3 colors to work with, and maybe a pop of color. It helps to choose a “theme” (casual, formal, summer, beachy, western, fall, shorts, pants, etc.). Pick colors that you personally like....especially if these photos will be framed and hanging up in your house. Layers and textures look great! Coordinate (rather than match). Accessorize! Scarfs, jewelry, bows, etc. Also don’t forget about the shoes looking nice and for boys make sure their socks are full length and closely match their pants. In general covered shoulders/arms look more flattering. Most importantly, wear something that you love and reflects your normal style. Check out my Instagram for more clothing ideas & inspiration.

In the event that Mother Nature does not cooperate I will contact you via email at least two hours prior to your session time. IIf our session is rained out, a makeup day will be set, at the exact same time and location. If you are unable to make the makeup day, a full refund will be given. 

About two weeks after your session, I will send you a private gallery with all your edited images. This is where the fun begins and you get to choose your favorite images.

I go through every image to choose the best photos for you to view in your gallery. I hand edit those to remove stray hair and blemishes, (but you will look natural, with normal skin!) and add my signature style with a pop of color. 

A mini session is a quick photo opportunity that enables families to update photos in 20-30 minutes. Perfect for busy families. Your Mini Session will include 8-12 proofed and fully edited photos in a private gallery to choose from. Mini sessions are more posed due to the short time allowed and are offered 1-2X/per year. 

Regular sessions run 1 - 1/12 hours and provide 30-50 images in which to choose from). These are ideal for large families/groups, those needing more time to transition between shots, multiple locations, young kiddos, older adults, pets in attendance, etc. These tend to offer more variety of both posed and natural shots. 

I offer both digital and boutique items such as albums, prints, canvases, and mini albums.
